Pointe Claire, a quiet neighborhood located in the West Island of Montreal is one of those "sleepy" location. Many people who don't know about the place mistakenly think that they are on the West Island extends westward from Montreal. It was the Fine Arts Talent Scholarship led her to York University, where she completed her studies in Theatre and graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in 2000. The career of Brugel spans more than twenty years, and she's performed in more than 60 shows that have screened on large screens as well as smaller screens. The most well-known role she played was the one of Rita (pictured beneath) in the television show The Handmaid's Tale. Brugel made an appearance on only a handful of instances in the initial season of the show The Handmaid's Tale. She was the sole Canadian actor.
